Blogging is a way of collecting links to webpages and sharing thoughts and ideas with people online.Blogs (or Weblogs) are basically online journals or diaries which are great for sharing information and ideas.
A blog can be anything you want it to be. It is your personal creative space on the web where you can share your thoughts and collaborate with others. There are millions of them on the internet, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules.
In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not.
In the last few years blogs and blogging have reshaped the web, impacted politics, shaken up journalism, and enabled millions of people to have a voice and connect with others. Google even provides a blog search engine now at http://blogsearch.google.com/

By incorporating the practice of blogging into our curricullum we hope to enhance your creativity, improve your writing skills and create a real sense of community and belonging here at ESH. The more you blog (write, post pictures, add to the forums) the richer our community and the richer your learning experience.
